How to Create a "Me Time" when You are Busy?

Nowadays everyone is busy because of work, school, children and so on. It is easy to slip into one of those situations for a long time but – hard to get back. We forget about ourselves, which shouldn't be the case. We are the only ones closest to ourselves and, we should take care of ourselves every day.

So, on that note, I will suggest a few tips on how to include a "me time" in your daily life, even if you are busy. :)

Have a planner!

It is a great tool to schedule your whole day, including everything you need to do and, one of those tasks should be a "me time". Prioritize things from the most important to the less. Between every task make a little break, but not very big, so, you could have particular time only for yourself.

Cancel or say "no"

I know it is not that easy to do as it sounds, especially if you are a people pleaser. But, it will create some space in your schedule that will allow you to do what you want. The best time to cancel something or say "no" to something is when you have too much stuff to do already.

Mute it!

Turn off your phone if you don't need it for the task you are doing at that time. Every time it will ping, it will distract you and, you lose your time away. And, we do not want it to happen, right?

One day of the week is just for you

It is similar to having a planner and scheduling your whole day, but here is a slight difference. You choose one day, just one day of the week, which will be intended only for you.

For example, if you work five days straight and have way too little or not at all time for yourself, then choosing Saturday or Sunday to be your day will help you relax and reboot your energy for the next working week.

Morning/evening routine is your saver!

No big deal which you will choose your main one – morning or evening's routine, but it will be an opportunity to have some time for yourself.

Of course, both together will create a golden mean. Mornings will help you get ready for your busy day, but evenings – get out of your long, hard day and prepare for the night and sleep.
